Door Chime

The client who commissioned the door chimes specified particular items he wished included in the design. He required me to put his ideas together with my engineering knowledge to produce the finished article.

When the door pull is operated, a steel ball runs along a track ringing bells and chimes along the way. It also moves objects on the frame such as the cloud in front of the sun and opens the hippo's jaws!

Materials used; Brass, copper and stainless steel.

Dimensions: 1.3 m wide. 0.58m high
